A meeting led by the Holy Spirit

This past week, Kim and I were in Las Vegas being assessed as potential church planters by the Launch Network. A lot happened in the two days we were there, and I would love to share some of that with you. I think I’ll wait until we get the results of their assessors (about two weeks). I do want to share with you about a specific meeting I had that was really intense, yet also calming.

I was in a coaching session with a godly man who was asking me questions about our story and trying to understand where I could improve. During this time, we started talking about an issue that I knew existed in my life, but hadn’t really thought about using a step-by-step process to change it. There’s no explanation for what happened next, except to say that the Holy Spirit made himself known in a very real way to both of us. The conversation took a turn toward correcting this area of sin in my life and with clarity that I’ve never had before, I was able to develop a plan that I have already begun to seek out how to correct it.

I believe that the Holy Spirit can direct your life in such a way as well.

Bathe your life and decisions in prayer.
Surround yourselves with people of wisdom and godliness.
Honestly seek God’s face.
