ANERA

American Near East Refugee Aid has existed since 1968 to provide humanitarian aid to the Middle East. Founded after the Six Days War, ANERA views relief as alleviating suffering, promoting development, and reducing poverty.

Health and Relief: ANERA contributed over $43 million in 2007 in medical donations and emergency relief. 

Education:  ANERA helps build new schools, offers after-school programs, train teachers and provides technological skills.

Community and Economic Development: ANERA helps build infrastructures and in the process, give short-term jobs for the Palestinian communities. ANERA received $4 million in grants in 2007 to assist in its Emergency Water and Sanitation Project.
