Homeless Spa
“Every Monday afternoon for the last year, the Rev. Bob Book and his wife, Holly, have transformed the Church of the Common Ground into a spa for the homeless. They scrub the feet of the city’s forgotten, mirroring the act of Jesus washing his disciples’ feet.”

Just imagine if all followers of Christ lived with this kind of humility and servanthood. What kind of impact could we have on the very ones who need to hear about Christ’s love the most? It is so sad that many churches and christians tame the radical faith that we are called to live out, and in all actuality it was never meant to be an easy or comfortable faith. We are called to serve those who we would never imagine serving, reaching those who we may never look at.
It’s a beautiful picture to see that we are all the same in God’s eyes, and to know that the hope and salvation I have in Him is the same hope and salvation available to ALL people. We can never limit God’s love and grace to only those we feel comfortable talking too, or only taking the message of His hope to places we feel comfortable.
Inspiring video Jeremy. Thanks man.
