Shelter Box

Almost 600 families have decided to return to their homes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after being displaced. ShelterBox is one of the organizations helping.

“ShelterBox Response Team members Tom Lay (UK) and Raul Fernandez (UK) were deployed to DRC on July 13 to oversee the distribution of 200 ShelterBoxes and assess the condition of the ShelterBox tents deployed there last November. The team have been working closely with all the NGOs in the region, particularly UNHCR, in order to distribute aid to the returning families in the best possible way.” (Source: HappyNews)
